Independent Research with Matthew Bietz
I worked with Professor Matthew Bietz, UCI on GapWalk, a mobile app idea that helps busy users turn small schedule gaps into short "MicroWalks." I built the Figma prototype for the onboarding, schedule setup, daily suggestions, and walking flow, then evaluated the concept with 5 participants in 30 to 45 minute think-aloud usability sessions.
Lecture Notes and Student Learning
This is an upcoming research direction I want to explore with a classmate. The idea is to compare manual note-taking, lecture transcripts, and structured AI-generated notes to better understand which format helps students stay engaged during class and review more effectively afterward.

Keyboard Learning for Blind Users
This is another upcoming research direction focused on accessibility and assistive technology. The idea is to explore whether camera-based hand tracking with audio feedback can help blind users learn keyboard hand placement and positioning with more confidence and independence.
